Its just a unique place . Theres nothing like it. Once we’ve built on it its no longer what it is , no longer the wild peak of the middle east. It should stay untouched. We haven’t got two Qornet el Sawda.

Kornet el sawda is currently the LAST and only place in Lebanon that is free of light pollution ! We astrophotographers cannot capture breath taking images about the night skies in light polluted areas , so please , someone stop those pathetic idiots from doing something only their ego will profit from !

... Weil langfristig gesehen die intakte Natur viel mehr Wert für ALLE hat als irgendein Luxusressort, das die Natur zerstört und ausbeutet. Diese Region ist einzigartig in Landschaft und Flora. Die Libanonzeder ist nur dort in dieser Art zu finden. Viel zu viele Bäume wurden die letzten 2000 Jahre gefällt, was bleibt, ist nicht mehr viel. Dieses Erbe MUSS erhalten bleiben, für die Natur, für die Menschen, für die zukünftigen Generationen, für das Klima, für das LEBEN auf dieser Erde.
