Korean pop group X1 is currently being instrumentalized to attract attention on an affair that is unrelated to the members. 

X1 is a group formed through a survival series called Produce 101 and held by the TV channel MNET. The channel is currently being investigated for rigging the votes and results of their show. 

However, Korean media and netizens are focusing on the group rather than the channel or the people in charge of the program. While they are most probably innocent and were unaware of the votes manipulation, they are receiving harsh and undeserved criticisms. 

While manipulation suspicions concern all the seasons of the show, media and netizens only focus on the latest group, trying to make them appear as the culprit instead of the people who decided on the manipulation and made it possible.

Please stop instrumentalizing the members who are not the target of the investigation just because it brings a bigger media impact.  All of the members trained fairly during the show and went through the stress of not knowing whether or not they would be chosen into the group. They can't be considered accountable for the decisions from third parties. 

Please keep your focus on the show's représentatives and be fair towards innocent people.
