Hi, my name is Isobel, I am in year 6 and I’m doing a project on Bushfires with my friend Alesha who has made a petition focusing on getting more equipment for the upcoming bushfire season (PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION). I am a koala addict and definitely don’t want them to go extinct!

As we have been inquiring deeper into our topic we realize that the koala population is decreasing dramatically and the main reason that is, is because of bushfires.  Koala’s can only live in Australia due to the food they eat- eucalypt leaves. These only grow in Australia and if Australia is just burning up then the koalas will be forced to leave.

 Did you know that the koala population has declined 70% over 10 years! I believe Australia could make a difference even by donating something to a koala foundation or adopting a koala. Please sign this petition it would make a difference to your life, there life and Australia. We are blessed to have these cuddly, unique creatures in Australia. LET’S KEEP IT THAT WAY!!!!
