I would mean so much to the a healthy secure population, it would mean the end of suffering that doesn't have to be and it brings the kind of equality to the country that most American's think we should have and my son would move home from Taiwan where they have a national health care plan based on our Medicare system.

Less cost; more equity; better results; healthcare should not be run by/for insurance corporations

As a patient advocate, I see the problem of high healthcare costs and lack of pricing transparency hurt patients and their families. We can certainly do better as a state and as a country.

I will be 64 in june and retiring in a few months and the retiree medical insurance I will have is still very expensive, but yet, less than the health care reform act would provide.

Though I have "the best" health insurance, administrative details have overwhelmed me. I must also pay thousands of dollars a year for meds after paying insurance premiums.

This is important to me because when I (everyone) really need healthcare then the insurance rates will be unaffordable and the prices of health care services unaffordable.
