Provide grit boxes on the Windmill Plantation, Kirton Lindsey

In light of the recent weather, residents of the Windmill Plantation estate are after something rather simple: a few grit boxes on the estate to help us clear the roads and allow us to get out of the estate.
Our estate is around twenty years old but has still not been handed over to North Lincolnshire Council, and so they are unwilling to assist.
We therefore request the assistance of our local Kirton Lindsey Town Council. Councillors who know the estate will have seen the hill it's been built on. Without grit, and in snowy conditions, the whole estate comes to a standstill and all but some of the 4x4s struggle to get up the hill safely, if at all. Windmill Way only has one exit and we need to be able to access grit boxes to clear the roads.
There are around a hundred houses on the estate so far, with another 35-40 to come. A grit box costs around £170 and we would like to ask Kirton Lindsey Town Council to cover the cost for two boxes on the estate.
We suggest that permission from Truelove is then requested by residents to site the boxes. North Lincolnshire Council will then ensure these are filled on a regular basis.
