Our school district states "band isn't considered a sport" and therefore is not able to practice. But the footballs teams, cheerleading, baseball, soccer, and every other sport is allowed to practice. Even though other clubs and activities are discontinued because of covid. Either everybody should be allowed to practice or none should at all.
