Petition for our parents safety, to let them stay safe at home until the COVID 19 outbreak is contained.

India has entered a pandemic-induced age of social distancing. Experts suggest that the lifting of lockdown could potentially endanger the lives of a certain section of population that is most vulnerable to the virus - parents.

The lives of our families are at risk and our emergency response will either help or hobble our country’s fight against COVID-19.

Government has allowed the employees of many sectors to resume work in tricity. As of today, the cases continue to peak with over 100 confirmed Covid-19 just in Chandigarh. This dangerous virus is known to affect a certain age group as evidenced by age range reported in death statistics. 

This is the time to draw people’s attention towards the risks of letting the parents go to work amid the ongoing outbreak.

Join me in asking the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to let the parents stay home until the outbreak is contained and vaccines are developed.
