The community of Kinross (Ward 16/17), falling under the Govan Mbeki Municipality in the Gert Sibande District Municipal area of Mpumalanga have been desperately struggling since 2015 with basic Service Delivery issues of no water, sewer running down most streets in the area, constant electricity infrastructure distuptions, pothole ridden streets with no lighting or street signs amongst many other basic Service Delivery challenges.

During all of these challenges, the designated Ward Councillor (Rose Nkabinde), has been completely missing in action (MIA), totally unavailable and clueless about the above-mentioned challenges, not to mention being totally derelict in her duties in respect of engaging with and keeping the community up-to-date on Municipal Service Delivery matters affecting the community.

In 2020 a Petition requesting the removal of the above incompetent Ward Councillor (Rose Nkabinde) was submitted by the community of Kinross to the Speaker of Council, the sitting Executive Mayor and COGTA to no effect.

Following the last Local Government Election of 2021, the same incompetent Councillor (Rose Nkabinde) was reappointed as the Ward Councillor for Ward 16/17 in Kinross, Mpumalanga who still continues to remain totally clueless and derelict in her duties and responsibilities to the community of Kinross.

The community of Kinross now herewith once again Petitions for the removal of this incompetent and incapable Ward Councillor (Rose Nkabinde), effective immediately and without exception ✊.
