Many residents of Murphysboro and the surrounding area are concerned that the Kinkaid Board is contemplating taking over the ownership and operation of the Kinkaid Lake marina, restaurant, and campgrounds. Signing this petition expresses your opinion to the Kinkaid Board that you support the pursuit of concessionaires to continue the operations of the marina etc, and oppose the concept of the Board itself taking over the operations.
