my parents lives revolved around the Golf course, friends and community. A lovely village that does not have the infrastructure to deal with an extreme increase in housing and population over such a small area.

I am a resident of Dingley and rezoning to allow more than 2 storey buildings in our area would destroy the nature of our suburb and why we decided to live here. There are no infrastructures, shops, roads etc to support any high density houses in our quiet suburb. Absolutely NO WAY.

firstly I appeal to Council to produce a study on the effects of traffic in our area, Dingley Village, with the advent of the Mordialloc By-pass. what allocations should/has been be made for parking within the proposed 3-story residential buildings, etc.
today it is not a one (1) car park for one residence like the past......but multi vehicles per residential unit.......and apart from appeasing developers after their rejection at Kingswood why should Dingley Village become over crowded......just stay a village.....and i appeal to Councilors to vote/consider for their constituents now and in the future. graemeb

My father lives in Dingley and has for over 35 years. Dingley is Unique in that there is little to no crime. TGraffic is already heavy - imagine the traffic when the Developer gets his hands on the land - small streets, small blocks, no parking. No schools, no kindergartens, buses will not be able to accommodate all of the insurgence of people. KEEP DINGLEY UNIQUE AND TELL THE DEVELOPER TO KEEP HIS HANDS OFF DINGLEY AND BY THE WAY - HOW DODDGY WAS THE WAY THE DEVELOPER ENDED UP WITH THE LAND??!!! DISGRACEFUL!!

Dingley Village is unique in the land of the "suburban virus". The golf course should be protected as part of the green belt. If it is no longer to be a golf course, it should be part of Parks Victoriafor all people to use and a sanctuary for our diminishing wildlife. I loved living in Dingley Village. A special place.

We live in Dingley and love the area. The rezoneing of the kingswood Golf club would destroy the village and its inviroment as we know and love. The trees would be culled and flora and fauna destroyed as well as bird and animal life. To make things more problematic there is no inferstructure the roads are congested, schools are full to capacity. Because of all these issues I am totally against massive residential development planned for this area!
