While corporate executives stayed home, essential grocery workers showed up every day to make sure our communities could put food on the table. 

These corporations have proposed to take away overtime protections, slash sick pay during a global pandemic, and replace jobs providing quality healthcare to Coloradoans with gig workers. The grocers think our community will not stand up and support workers in a labor dispute. 

We are asking for a safe place to work and armed security guards to safeguard workers and customers. We need a wage that allows us to afford to live in the communities we serve, and a contract that protects our affordable healthcare and secure pension benefits. Grocery workers want full-time jobs without the fear of having their jobs outsourced.
