King’s College London is requiring me to have legal documentation of a name change in order to change my gender-affirming name on my diploma. Institutions are still repressing the transgender and nonbinary community by hindering name changes without legal documentation. After working so hard on my diploma, I want credit to be given to Carls because they earned this degree. Carly even doesn’t exist!
