Kindergarten class sizes are surpassing 33 children per room. We are concerned about what this means for teachers' ability to engage and build meaningful relationships with our children. We are, in fact, even more concerned about the health and safety of our children who, at 4 and 5 years old, are as yet unable to get vaccinated from COVID-19. We are asking parents to sign the petition and ask the TDSB, Superintendent Ron Felsen, and Trustee Shelley Laskin, and Principal Peter Boross-Harmer to reconsider their allocation and reduce the class sizes to a more appropriate one.
