We spent seven hours a day at school should not have to go and do more schoolwork. If you wanted us to know about it you should’ve taught it in class. Homework gives kids so much stress and if they don’t know how to do it how will they get help they can’t contact the teacher because if they do not do their homework they will have a consequence. Homework is a waste of time for kids at home to socialize and hang out with family sleep or eat, kids get a break from school at home but they just have to end up doing more in the long run.
I know from first-hand experience, This is my ninth year of school and going home with the thought of having to do more schoolwork after you just got out of seven hours is so tiring. Some kids may struggle with the thought of no help with their homework, they could always email her teacher but the comfort of having them there answering every question is way more helpful. I am not being disrespectful to the teachers at all I’m just trying to say is that kids today and probably kids in the earlier days had so much stress and problems with not getting their work done or getting it done but not correctly is so much stress. In my math class if we don’t finish our homework we have to stay in for recess and do it in one of the teachers classrooms which is completely unreasonable because everyone forgets to do stuff and nobody’s perfect so why should we have to go out of our way and do extra stuff just to help grow our learning we should stay at the level we’re comfortable at and learn at our own pace without being trampled with homework every night instead let the kids do the work and class and finish it the next day it’ll be way more efficient for the kids and most kids will probably get more sleep not having to stay up all night doing their work.
