Craig Fenton started this petition to Governor Kim Reynolds

In this time of great risk to public safety around the world Governor Kim Reynolds is failing to believe the World Health Organization and thousands of doctors, exposing Iowans and those that visit us to the potential of the deadliest consequences. Her inaction on a state wide shelter in place order and her order that cities and counties may not enact these orders individually is leaving Iowans and the world exposed to a grave danger!
The partial shutdown of businesses, schools and some other economic sectors for six weeks, without the full shutdown provisions means some Iowans will continue in activities that will potentially bring this virus into their communities and homes. Iowans currently observing social distancing and responsible stay at home policies are being artificially quarantined longer because the virus continues to circulate through those in the public doing non-essential activities. Further, State, county and local EMS and law enforcement are unable to enforce any actions to mitigate this disease in homeless and indigent populations that roam the streets and congregate together observing none of the conventions of preventing the spread of the virus. This is 100% unacceptable.

Resolved then than Governor Kim Reynolds should immediately issue a stay at home order for all Iowans on April 3, 2030 or as soon as possible to bring Iowa into line with other State and World pandemic mitigation policies!
