For over 30 years our school district has created zones that supposedly innovated Killeen to help control our population growth. Unfortunately zoning has created a hateful competitive nature in our community, leading to gangs & neighborhood tags that flow into our public schools. Giving zones has created a “hateful” nature throughout our community allowing youth to form hate against other zoned areas and schools.

We also continue to put our selfs in debt because we believe that building more schools within our district helps level out or population. Unfortunately this decision puts us back another 10 years on every competitive level when it comes to our students.
