After almost a year of treating multiple units for bedbugs, we have determined the 'Equipment Room' on the 11th floor to be the source of our nightmare. What once used to be a sauna is now the nesting grounds for bedbugs. The room is completely infested with dozens of bedbugs crawling on the walls and ceiling and many more hiding inside the wooden lining of the old sauna.

A team of pest experts has advised that the sauna be demolished and the whole room treated multiple times, after which, all utility rooms and common areas must be treated, starting with the 11th floor and progressing downward, floor by floor. Unless the sauna is destroyed, we will always have bedbugs in our beds, no matter how much and how often we treat our units.
