Do you think wearing masks is hard? Imagine how hard it is to wear an oxygen ventilator. We are asking as students and youth to think about the future of our state by putting in a mask mandate. Please help us convince Governor Stitt to mandate masks in Oklahoma so we can go back to school, and we can relieve nurses and doctors from overwhelming amount of people in hospitals due to COVID-19. To help parents get their jobs back, and we can go back to the store without the worry of getting the deadly virus. We shouldn't have to put our frontline workers to extreme risk of COVID-19. Too many of our neighbors, students and loved ones are passing. Please understand the importance of your masks! Stay safe! 

As a student, going back to school is very important to me. Doing school virtually can be difficult at times when there isn't a teacher there to help us. This goes for all students of all ages. It is difficult to learn your ABC's through a computer screen and it's difficult to learn algebra without the direct help from a teacher. It is a community effort to help keep everyone safe and lead them to a better future. Signing this petition can help bring a mask mandate in Oklahoma. As a result, more schools will open, people will feel safer, there will be less COVID cases, and students will have the relief of a teacher.
