Twice in the morning of August, once in 1978 and 1984 a young girl was discovered murdered and mutilated. A serial killer stalked Torrey Pines State Beach leaving three victims, two young girls murdered and one surviving male victim, the families and the public were never informed that these CRIMES were committed by a SERIAL KILLER. After 37 years the male survivor from the attack in 1978 wants answers and is requesting your help in signing this petition. The FBI had told San Diego back in 1995, "Although both cases occurred six years apart, similarities in the cases suggest both were committed by the same perpetrator or perpetrators."
We are strongly urging the San Diego Police, Cold Case Department to allow outside assistance and resources involving the cold case murders of Barbara Nantias and Claire Hough. Outside assistance has been denied by the San Diego Police department and the family and friends want to see that policy reversed.
Assistance from Americas Most Wanted was DENIED by the SDPD back in 2006. AMW is no longer on prime-time television. Opportunity MISSED.
Assistance from Investigation Discovery was DENIED by the SDPD this year, 2012.
Assistance from The Vidocq Society has recently been denied by the SDPD .
We are strongly urging the San Diego Police, Cold Case Department to allow outside assistance and resources involving the cold case murders of Barbara Nantias and Claire Hough, each year new technology and methods solve cold cases. The possibility of what could be is overshadowed by the fact of what is, SDPD has denied any assistance in a 30 plus year old, cold murder case.
