Megan da Fox started this petition to Kerr Middle School administration

Kerr Middle School has had a slight problem with discrimination against LGBTQ+ students that go to the school. Margaret Mitchell is a 7th grader at this school and is a member of the LGBTQ+ community. She's experienced an extraordinary amount of slurs and more from classmates in all 9 of her classes, this includes Lunch.

With a new semester beginning, she and a couple of her friends have decided to make a plan to try and persuade the minds of the administration at their middle school to let there be a GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) Club during or after school for every LGBTQ+ student in her school. So far, she's had the majority of the 7th-grade members agree to join. Although, the administration at her school have said some things about the community in the past, and she is afraid that she won't be able to make the club.

She's made a plan for if the admin decide to not allow this club at her school. She's said that she will hold the meetings at a club member's house or a nearby park. Trying to convince the school is her first priority, as she wants to try and make a change. She's reaching out to Change.org for support and for people to see what she is trying to accomplish. She's very proud of her friends that are sticking by her side in this potentially long battle. She thanks everyone for their love and support and will continue to fight for a safe haven for the LGBTQ+ community in her school no matter what!
