The Kern High School District needs to go back online and they need to do it fast! Coronavirus is not getting better and won’t especially if we stay at school. The students are not wearing their masks properly and the teachers are not setting an example by also not wearing their masks properly.

According to the Kern Public Services the amount of coronavirus cases are increasing more and more per day. The seven day average of COVID-19 cases in California as of right now is at 57,000. 

The U.S is the nation with the most active cases in the world. The Kern High School District has taken “precautions to help prevent the spreading of COVID-19”, but if they wanted to keep the students of this district and everyone else safe they’d shut down schools until further notice.

Online learning is the best option to resort to because it is the only thing that ensures students can’t make contact and spread the Coronavirus to others. If the Kern High School District cared about it’s students and staff, they’d listen to what we have to say.
