As a Senior in the KHSD, we can all agree that this shut down of schools has taken anything and everything that we’ve worked towards away. The little things such as seeing your friends, going to prom, gradnite, Senior sunsets, making memories, and let alone Graduation. As a class, we were born into the tragedy of 9/11, entered elementary when the stock market crashed, middle school when the Boston Marathon bombing took place, high school when mass shootings became “normal”, and none the less being forced to give up on our senior year due to COVID-19. It’s safe to say that the Class of 2020 has gone through so much, why put them through more? As seniors we should come together and ask for a stop to this madness, and be given the freedom to be called graduates already and a ceremony in the near future.

Thank you,
