Due to numerous concerns, Kern River Golf Course would like to urge the Board of Supervisors to reconsider the proposed bike path extension running through the course. First and foremost, we feel it would be much safer for cyclists/pedestrians  if the path could be rerouted on the outside of the course. The proposed path runs dangerously close to two golf greens (see image above) and also runs next to the driving range. Getting hit by a golf ball, or running over one is very possible. There are plenty of other options to route this path, which would be much safer and would not disrupt play on the golf course.

We urge our golfers to please support and sign this petition as it's extremely time sensitive.  We want our Golfers to have the best experience during their round of golf.  We love our course and want to keep it that...a Golf Course.  We welcome everyone to enjoy the beauty of Kern River Golf Course, however, we want everyone to use the same entrance....the front entrance.
