Mulla periyar dam is an old dam built 126 years ago, the British officer who built that dam said that the dam should decommission after 50 years. Still that dam is working and if something bad happens then it will cost the lives of more than 40 lakhs people living in that locality including me and my family. If they continue to use the dam, then a big disaster is waiting for the people of Kerala. The impact of that disaster maybe more than we could even imagine.
