We require a school bus service that runs directly from Marden to High Weald Academy as there are a significant number of children attending High Weald Academy that live in Marden. We believe that even more children would attend this school if it was easier to get to.  Here are some examples of how parents are getting their children to this school;

• My child is getting the train and a bus (both paid services). The bus times are not in line with the train times so there is a lot of waiting around.
• I am driving my child to Staplehurst and then they are getting the bus, then I pick them up from Staplehurst after school.
• I am driving my child to and from the school.
Here are some of the reasons why a direct school bus service would benefit everyone;

• Child’s school day would be shortened
• Reduce traffic
• Reduce pollution
• Make school accessible for all
• Make the journey safer and easier
• Cheaper
