Killer Cop Running For Sheriff

Killer Cop Running For Sheriff
It’s important that we pay attention to the people who hold power in our cities.
A Kenosha police officer by the name of Albert Gonzales who was the subject of a $1.75 million wrongful death settlement is running for sheriff. Gonzales was one of four Kenosha officers involved in the 2004 killing of Michael Bell Jr., who he shot in the head.
His reason for wanting to run for sheriff is "The platform I'm going to have is what I'm running for. I'm just looking toward the future." (Hess) Full article: https://www.wpr.org/kenosha-police-officer-who-shot-and-killed-michael-bell-jr-running-kenosha-county-sheriff
Why is a man that is running for sheriff of Kenosha county, focused on the type of platform he will be obtaining as sheriff? Instead of the work he will be doing as a sheriff within the community?
We don’t need someone as sheriff who thinks shooting someone point blank in the head is lawful policing.
