Tell KSU to end mandatory meal plans

Starting fall semester of 2017, freshman and sophomore's that live on Kennesaw State University's campus will be forced to buy a $1,890 meal plan. Juniors and seniors who live on campus will be forced to buy a $489 meal plan.
Students should be allowed to live on campus without being forced to pay extra fees for swipes they will not even use.
Beyond this, living on campus isn't a choice for many students. Many students don't have cars; other students who are disabled, LGBT, and international rely on living communities located on campus to meet their basic safety needs.
Forcing these students to pay thousands more is inherently wrong.
Meal plans should be available, and students should be empowered to customize plans that best fit their needs, not forced to buy plans that are wasteful and send them into debt.
