Majority of Pinnacle Sri Petaling Owner Group of about 300 members have expressed distress and frustrations by the building up issues encountered since Vacant Possession of Pinnacle Sri Petaling Condominium in February 2021.

While we understand lockdowns due to pandemic caused delays, we failed to receive sufficient support, such as transparent updates and alternative solutions from the Management Office and Developer, Pinnacle Homes SP.

Key issues encountered include, but not limited to:

  1. Most air-conditioners not delivered to owners.
  2. Most passenger lifts are not operating / broken.
  3. Many grilles for entrance and yard are not delivered and installed.
  4. Incomplete defect repairs for remaining units.

As a result, owners and tenants have to bear with living in discomfort without air-conditioners or incurring additional expenses to buy themselves first. We wasted time on waiting for lifts. Worst yet, owners suffer losses from leaving their units vacant from tenancy or pay additional rentals elsewhere as they can't move in.

Hence, we request for immediate resolutions based on the proposed solutions:

  1. Provide transparent and specific update details on the above 4 issues at least once a month via email to all owners.
    Details should include who are the vendors / suppliers, why the delays, what are the extra-mile alternatives explored (ie: change vendors), and what is the next action plan.
  2. Issue cash vouchers for air-conditioners.
    This saves owners and the Management the troubles and conflicts in indefinitely waiting for batch deliveries of air-conditioners.

We have been tolerating the issues for about 6 months now, and we have not seen improvements in communication or solutions from Management Office on the issues. We sincerely hope the 2 requests will be considered and acted upon immediately, resolving the issues swiftly and conveniently with the Management.

Otherwise, we may resort to escalate our grievances to the government agencies, Kementerian Perumahan Dan Kerajaan Tempatan (KPKT) and Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri Dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna (KPDNHEP).
