A full-time receptionist at the Leicester Royal Infirmary

The Leicester Royal Infirmary sees hundreds of thousands of visits a year but without a full-time receptionist many visitors, patients and staff are suffering from a lack of efficiency and an alarming absence of security.
Without someone to direct visitors and patients where to go a lot of time is being lost trying to interpret signs and information. This becomes a bigger problem for those with accessibility needs. A receptionist could assist and direct those who need it.
Additionally security is becoming an issue, recently there was a stabbing outside the entrance which then made its way inside the hospital. Endangering staff, patients and visitors. A receptionist could have alerted staff and security and called the police, before the situation was allowed to escalate.
For these reasons and more it is important that there is a full-time receptionist in post at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.
