Volleyball is a sport that is a more well-liked sport by not only the athletes who play it, but the fans and student body who come out to support it. Volleyball for seniors just ends in the Fall semester, before their senior year is even up, and they have to deal with that for the rest of their senior year, knowing volleyball has ended and they have nothing more to look forward to, especially if it's their only sport they play. Thinking about the seniors who have or are planning to commit to a college to continue their career in volleyball, they're losing a lot of valuable and useful practice time in that huge gap in between when their senior high school season ends, and their first practice as a freshman at their new college. Practice during that time period is very crucial to their performance, with making sure they aren't too "rusty" with their skills and mindset. Even if they have access to other training and practice opportunities, some do not and therefore that gives the unfair advantage to those athletes who do. This petition can apply to all Fall and Winter sports, and even Spring sports to bring forth full fairness, and especially with the expanded length of each sport, it could give more space for practice times and game days for the multiple sports. Overall, I think all sports, especially volleyball, should be an all-yer round thing in every school.
