The Town of Hanover is handing over the Community Trails and green spaces are becoming development, with little regard to the environment and people's mental health.

Development and planning in Hanover desperately needs to have a healthier mindset towards climate-change and how people use rather than abuse our public spaces.

The community side-trails between Grey road 28 and the soccer fields are in the developer hands and will likely become privatized lots along the river.  They have already clear-cut the cedar path that once existed, but the main community trail is our town land.

If we can stop, or at least slow this development process in order to have better communication and more insightful negotiations, we will see better trail development in Hanover's future and perhaps even a greener planning process.
