The Peach is a very well-known and iconic tourist atraction. It would be very sad to see this beloved peice of Penticton's history change. It is often used as a symbol on maps, brochures, signs, etc. The much-loved Peach has been here since the early 1960s, and we would all hate to see it leave. With all of the hard work that the people of Penticton have put in to make this a map worthy place, I am sure that the locals have some opions about the menu and company change coming up. If the peach were to change anything, at least put it into the hands of a local, not a Alberta based company. I'm not sure about anyone else, but, some of my greatest childhood memories involve the peach. It surves perfect snacks after a long day at the beach, and I don't think anything could beat those crazy shakes. Not even lemonaid. The Peach is a very loved part of Penticton. Please take a stand and help keep the Peach.
