It's important to keep it right where it belongs! The volunteers have worked endlessly since it came back to preserve this beautiful ship! I thoroughly enjoyed my tour when i went a few years ago...the tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history. It would be a shame to haul it off and destroy this beautiful piece of history!

This ship is amazing and needs to stay where it originated to keep with the history. I would bring visitors to the ship and everyone said they were amazed at the history as well and would love to come back. Be proud of the Simcoe Ontario history, don’t let it leave!!!!

The Keewatin should remain in it's rightful home. As a country we have a rich history, but it suffers from lack of awareness and proper celebration; we should take a page from American neighbours. The Great Lakes passenger steamship era is uniquely Canadian and if the ship is moved, we will no doubt lose the best possible preservation of that era, A tour of the Keewatin makes that history come alive, I moved to Central Ontario 2+ years ago, and this is an under-marketed attraction that could easily generate double the visitor volume with the right promotion, in just the GTA alone. I urge our parliamentary leaders and the Minister of Heritage to do the right thing. Keep the Keewatin in it's rightful home and take a stand for preservation of our history.
