The Cubby in Mitchelton is a one-of-a-kind art installation that would be missed terribly by those that visit it, by the artists that have put in such huge efforts to create it, and all the children whose imaginations have been enriched by its colorful lights and the unique display of magic in an otherwise homogenized suburb.

The council has asked for its immediate demolition. We ask council to reconsider this decision.

We ask, at the least to be allowed the time to raise the funds necessary to modify the cubby to meet council regulations.
