‘Keep the Cray’

‘Keep the Cray’
Jurien Bay - home of the crayfish and symbolic to our town . The crayfishing industry was the reason people settled in Jurien bay , it’s first ‘houses’ were fishing shacks .
As the town and industry grew a school was built .
As the school evolved a uniform and logo were created . The colours Red and white to signify the crayfish reds and whites run and of course a crayfish designed by one of the year 7students. A great logo , simple, very original and to the point
Recently an email was sent out from the principal saying they want to ‘modernise’ the logo , they have submitted several designs non of which include the traditional crayfish .
if you would prefer to see the logo kept as is or modernised to include a crayfish please sign this petition and or express your opinion to the Principal
