Indigo is phasing out the in-store computers used to search for books and other products. Many people including myself use these computers multiple times per visit. The computers are very efficient and you can generally find what you're looking for and where to find it within seconds. 

The website is clunky. Even I have a hard time figuring out if the store I'm currently in has the book I'm looking for. For the elderly population and people without cellphones or service its that much worse. 

This brings to light another issue, the cellular signal inside indigo stores is generally not very strong. While they do offer free wifi at most locations, that is just one more step that you have to go through before figuring out if the store has the book you're after.
