We as a community feel as if we aren’t being heard. People have lived out here for years and have never had a problem with the dirt roads, the many noises that you may hear out here, etc. What we do have a problem with is outsiders trying to change the soul reasons we have decided to move and live out here. We do not want paved roads. Instead use that money to keep up with grading the dirt roads. Paved roads won’t help our drainage problem and will end up costing more due to the upkeep needed. Instead of spending money on paved roads we rather pour that money into revamping the parks & adding to them. Just think about it, when the parks are better more kids will be active and possibly stay out of trouble. WE THE PEOPLE OF DAYTONA NORTH DON’T WANT TO BE COLONIZED. We want change but not where the outsiders want change. We want change in the places that matter most.
