As many of us have seen over the past two decades, there have been many situations where school safety has been jeopardized. Part of this problem is due to the fact that many schools lack a proper security system, and in some cases, they have none at all. This petition is to encourage schools, communities, and the government to encourage and implement proper security measures in schools, and to maximize the safety of all students. More specifically, this petition mainly focuses on encouraging people in the community to be involved in the safety of their schools, as this would be the best way to ensure that each school is tailored according to the students, parents, and environments.
