The current management of Strawberry Fields in Evesham is under attack from a few disgruntled customers who are hell bent on getting them removed. In my view, this form of action is unfair and creating unnecessary stress for them. These disgruntled customers are using Facebook to whip support for one sided grievances. These people have raised a petition to have them replaced which will ofcourse attract like-minded individuals to sign this petition before sending their petition to the Head Office of the Hungery Horse group. 

It is not easy running a very large eatery establishment given the diversity of individual preferences, likes and dislikes. Some would say that criticism goes with the territory and is an opportunity to put things right and inprove the service. The challenges that running such a service have been further amplified by the stop-start events of the pandemic which has affected all services. The normal management and communication systems have been seriously disrupted making it even more difficult to satisfy all customers. 

Just imagine for one minute if you managed a service and was faced with resolving complaints in real time and the many hostile attitudes from time to time how problematic that could be. As it happens in life those that make the most noise pressurise others to support their cause whilst the silent majority are left behind. Well, I can say that this establishment is very popular and I wonder why? Could it be that it is well managed and that those complaining are a very small minority who by the way canvass support from family and friends to achieve their goal? 

Given the extraordinary times we are living in, it makes some people more sensitive than they would normally be in these times. The current management and their team struggle on to provide positive experience for all its  patrons despite understaffing, disruption of supplies and rotas. I happen to think that the current management are doing an amazing job and deserve a big pat on the back. I am asking for all those satisfied customers to sign this petition in order to get a more balanced perspective so that those people who want the current management removed do not achieve their goal!
