There are some people in this world that think that they can restrict public land from the public. This is a petition to prove that the people of Bend, OR want to keep public land just that, PUBLIC.  Don't let out of state residents change the town, it's gathering places, or it's traditions. 

Phil's trail has for a long time been a place for people who love the outdoors. To gather and enjoy nature.  Bikers, hikers, walkers, campers, and explorers all come together to enjoy the same plot of land. Locals and people passing through. Around 1985 Phil himself discovered the biking potential of this land when he stumbled across a single game trail and decided to build something more. Something special.

Haven't we learned from the past? Taking the peoples land, from the people, has never been a valid solution. And has always been based on prejudice, privilege, money, and greed. We are still trying to make amends to this day for the mistakes we made years ago.

Let's not discriminate against people that use this beautiful landscape properly and treat it with respect.
