A petition has recently been started to remove our confederate statue from the square in Georgetown, TX. I am completely against this. This statue is a part of history, it was erected in 1916, and was paid for by donations from people that lived in the county. We can't delete our history, we have to remember and learn from it! Please help me by signing this petition to keep our statue, let the city officials know it needs to stay!!
