It would be so good to encourage children to cycle to school, it will give them a positive attitude to living a healthy lifestyle as they grow up.

Cycling is a central part of any sensible solution to our traffic problems in the city and getting kids on safe cycle routes is obviously key to getting the next generation comfortable with bike travel..

I want less air pollution. Making it safe for kids to cycle to school will mean mums don't feel they have to drive them there.

I'd love to see protected cycle paths to every primary school - kids live close to their primary school and it would nurture sustainable behaviours that they're more likely to keep up for the rest of their lives.
