Keep North Charleston Beautiful: Save Our Butterfly Garden!

Keep North Charleston Beautiful: Save Our Butterfly Garden!
Why this petition matters
With the planned redevelopment of Park Circle proper, the literal 'slate' is being wiped clean to make room for the new City plan, with unfortunate consequences: the loss of our community's beloved Butterfly Garden! While we are thrilled to see many of the exciting new upgrades to such a shared space, it is heartbreaking to also see such a labor of love from so many hands to create such a magical place and important microecosystem for the butterflies, birds, bugs and other creatures we know and love that we're reminded of every Earth Day. After talking to other green (brown & purple) thumbs, including our very own horticulturalist, Carmen Hanlon, we wanted to collectively express our desire to have our Butterfly Garden kept on the map, even if it must be relocated to a new position within the redeveloped Circle. It is a passion for our planet and little 'PC' world that we'd like to share once again as well as pass on as a legacy to future generations for them to appreciate. I do hope you will join me in showing some love for KNCB and support for a return of our Butterfly Garden by signing up for this petition today!
