Keep neighborhoods unique, apply zoning standards. Do not pity commercial property owner that cannot attract small businesses because of exhorbinant rents they charge. Revolk whatever tax incentives they receive by keeping their commercial rental properties vacant...

I prefer local small businesses. Keep the large box shops out of our little city.

As a 40 year resident of NOE Valley, 24th at Vicksburg, I oppose allowing chain stores and other profiteers to continue the homogenization of NEO Valley.

I’m a local pet related business in the Sunset. I don’t see any reason to allow another high profile pet store in the Noe Valley area. Leave the little guys alone. It’s hard enough to make a go of it in SF as it is. Big chains destroy the local businesses trying to make a living.

Big chains can afford to cut prices just long enough to drive smaller businesses under - then raise price when shoppers have no other options. Ask anywhere Wal-mart has opened...

I don't see the need for this business: stop the corporate greed!
