Mr.Haag is the 11th grade counselor at PHS for the last letters of the alphabet. He is new this year and has been so impactful in my life and others. A couple weeks ago it was relayed to me that Mrs.Watt didn’t hire him to come back next year. For juniors, this means we need to retell our career paths and future plans to a new counselor, and for the students who have him, it means we lose an amazing counselor. He has done nothing but care and support us as we moved through our junior year and not bringing him back next year is a mistake. I’m hoping to reach 100 signatures to go to the principal with in order to make an impact and try and keep him here. I haven’t had a counselor do so much as he has for me and I don’t wanna lose that.
