An Intrusive Artificial Rock Island? Exactly what would they be anyway and how do they get?

Clump Point is one of the most significant geological formations in Eastern Australia, being a basalt outcrop on the coast. It has a unique occurrence of grassland, is an Indigenous cultural heritage site of significance for spiritual and artifact reasons. It has a unique identity found no where else. In no way should any further development occur in this location. Ever!

Any human interference in a pristine
area will disrupt natural systems and
place more stress on already endangered species.

We just bought a house in Bingil Bay due to the natural beauty of the area, this changes the view I will see everyday. I understand that it will destroy the Aboriginal fish trap also, this is simply unacceptable in an area where the local Aboriginal population was originally wiped out by us almost completely.

It is criminal that this special bay should be treated in this way. This is our home and Clump Point/Narragon Beach are part of us. We and our children have a responsibility to look after and protect this precious zone.

This is yet another in the death of 1000 cuts for small communities in the GBRWHA - whereby money is allowed to buy anything it wants and the environment is seen to be peripheral and not central. GBRMPA, please do your duty and stand up for the WHA and the environment.
