This is our amazing lolly pop lady Miss Lomas. Who has worked for tameside for 10 years. Miss Lomas was also a respected member of staff at Godley Primary School as a midday assistant for many years. Both my sons have had wonderful experiences with Miss Lomas over the years. She is kind, caring, loyal and most of all professional. 

Sadly and frustratingly her contract has not been renewed for this very busy crossing on Commercial brow. And after summer there will be nobody to help cross our children safely to school. 

Today I stood and watched over 30 children cross from Godley Primary and from other local nurseries & schools. Including -Alder, Saint Paul's, Hyde High, Rayner Stephen's, All Saints, Yellow door nursery and more. The company across the road (Amphora) even use Miss Lomas as a way to cross to work, due to how busy and dangerous the road can quickly become.
