Chief Pat Kitchens said  that Miranda’s memorial site has to come down by July.. I spoke with him and asked why? Was there any complaints? His (heartless) response was “It just had to come down, we can’t allow everyone to do that, it’s on public property by a stop sign.. I told him, “You know my daughter was robbed of her future and so much not to mention the justice system only giving Amber 9yrs right?!” He said, “There’s no complaints it’s him personally that is making this decision.. WTH? We maintain this spot, we go there EVERY SINGLE DAY!! It is not obstructing any views near the stop sign!! The ghost bike is 15’ away from the stop sign!! The fence and flowers are no taller than 12 to 14 inches from the ground.. There is NO legitimate reason to take this from us!! This is all we have left!! The cemetery and the memorial…. I feel closer to Miranda Lynch at the memorial since I believe that’s where she really passed.. Again it’s all we got left, how could you be so heartless and try to take that from us??? This is supposed to be a tight small town who looks out for one another.. There’s 1 high school, everybody knows everybody!! We had so much support from a lot of ppl here in town, why is this guy being like this? We’ve ever had several officers say how they feel it should stay there!! It raises awareness for drunk driving!! It helps keep my baby’s name alive!
