Our shelter is going to start locking the dorms from the hours of 9am to 5pm. We will have no access to our belongings during this time period, and the facility simply does not have room for all the women here to have a place to get out of the heat. I haven't been able to find a park where a person could sit under a tree and cool off, despite my lengthy treks around the neighborhood. There is also the issue of women who work second and third shift having access to their beds. Please sign this petition and support us in reversing this short sighted policy.
