The city of St. Augustine has plans to drastically change one of St. Augustine’s most important attractions, Magnolia Avenue.  People come from all over the world to visit this iconic street which has been named one of the prettiest in America.  The city is looking to change all of that with their mobility plan.  Recently the news ran a story showing renderings that would paint the street with signs adding a bike/pedestrian lane and parking.  This would blemish what is one of the most photographed areas of St. Augustine.  Countless visitors enjoy this street everyday in addition to the people stopping by for couples, family, and wedding photos.  This petition is to let the city of St. Augustine know to keep Magnolia Avenue looking it’s best and to not clutter one of our amazing views with more signs and road paint.  We have enough of that going on and we continue to lose our charm which is why the taxpayers live here and the tourists come here.

Please forward this to as many people as you would think are interested in saving an iconic piece of our town.  Also, feel free to write to the city council and let them know your feelings.  Their info can be found here…
